Morning Byzantium Relics Istanbul Tour
08.30 – Collect you right from your hotel by our travel team in the morning.
Start with the tour in Sultanahmet Area, the center of old town of Istanbul city, it has hosted the gorgeous landmarks of Byzantine & Ottoman Empires for hundreds of years. In this morning tour, we are going to step from one site to another to feel the atmosphere of that era and admire the great architectural beauties.
The day starts with the pick up from your hotel or pre-advised point and drives to Sultanahmet Square. Our first stop will be to Hippodrome, where we are going to see Theodosius Obelisk, Serpent Column, German Fountain and Million Stone. Then we walk to the Blue Mosque, famous for its charming architecture and blue tiles inside. Just opposite this magnificent mosque, we have the great Hagia Sophia Museum, the former Byzantine Church and Ottoman Mosque serving as a museum now, stands in the heart of Sultanahmet old town and exhibits the symbols and mosaics of Christianity and Islam. Finally, we are going to walk to Grand Bazaar, the oldest shopping mall in the world. You will have brief information about the history of the bazaar and some tips on how to do shopping there.
12.45 – After the half day tour, we will drop you off at your hotel at noon time.
